First, we want you to know that we appreciate the trust you place in us on a daily basis. Being a leader in our industry, we are often faced with challenges that require us to implement contingency plans to sustain our operations and minimize the impact on your business. That is why we wanted to personally update you on our enhanced measures to respond to the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation.
Today, we are operating in a “business as usual” mode with no impact to the US supply chain in regard to consumables and deliveries to our facilities.
Plan of Action
We are closely monitoring the situation as it changes minute-by-minute and are in touch with all our carriers and vendors. We will alert you if we foresee any changes or disruptions to our business that may affect yours. United Mail has a documented and tested business continuity and disaster recovery plan already in place and is prepared to activate those plans as necessary. United Mail has multiple facilities which provides us the flexibility to make production adjustments to minimize any service disruption for our customers.
We are also focused on the health and safety of our employees. We will continue to follow the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC as changes occur. We are having regular internal meetings to safeguard the well-being of our employees and customers and to develop plans for various scenarios to lessen any business impacts to you. Additionally, should you need to meet with your United Mail contact remotely, we are equipped to communicate with our clients via video conferencing tools.
We will continue to send communications to keep you informed. In addition, please visit the Operating Status page for updates at production locations, as well as any updates from the US Postal Service.
Given this dynamic situation, we encourage you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. As always, we appreciate your faith in us.
